The Antigonish Highland Games Reunion Pipe Band is a collective band made up of solo and retired pipers and drummers from around the region and country. Many have played in the AHG parade in the past with various pipe bands.  They now come together as a “reunion” band to commemorate special occasions, such as the 150th and the160th AHG.

The band brings together the piping community of northeastern Nova Scotia and is a reminder of the deep highland piping tradition that continues to exist in this region. It includes many former pipers, drummers and pipe majors of Atlantic pipe bands from years past and pipers and drummers who come home for the Games.

All pipers and drummers are welcome to join.  In the past, the band has attracted musicians from around the world. The 160th pipe band is led by Antigonisher’s Pipe Major Francis Beaton from Florida and Pipe Sgt Mike Chisholm of Vancouver.
